It has been almost 3 years since Michael Jackson left us at the age of 50. However, intense interest remains about his life, work, and family–especially his three children. Oprah Winfrey recently visited Jackson’s 14-year-old daughter, Paris, for an interview that revealed some details about life with a world-famous parent.
One of the most-discussed Jackson oddities was his habit of covering his children’s faces in public. Paris Jackson explained to Winfrey that he was doing it to protect their identity in hopes people wouldn’t recognize them when they weren’t with their father.
“I was really confused,” Paris told Winfrey, confirming that her face was only covered when she was with her dad, not at any other time. “I didn’t get why I was wearing a mask, but I understand it now…why my dad would want our faces to be covered. When we went out without him, we wouldn’t be recognized and could have a normal childhood.”
When asked if she thought her father really wanted her to have a normal childhood, Paris answered yes.
“He had his doubts,” she added. “He told us when he was younger, he didn’t really have a childhood. He would always be stuck in the studio singing, while other kids were out playing.”
Paris noted that Jackson let his kids go to normal places in hopes they’d have a regular life. “Chuck E. Cheese and Toys R Us were our favorite places to go,” she told Winfrey.
According to OWN, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is one of the most successful and controversial rappers ever. After years of feud rumors between him and Oprah, she sits down with him for the first time from his grandmother’s home.
Oprah’s Next Chapter featuring the full interview with Paris Jackson will air June 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on OWN.
The late forever super great Whitney Houston’s family had an interview with Oprah. Family members included Bobbi Kristina Brown, Gary and Patricia Houston.

Talk show host Rosie O’Donnell will have a new talk show on “OWN” Oprah’s network. O’Donnell will focus on talking to one guest at a time instead of having too many guest at a time. I think this will work because O’Donnell’s questions will get answered.

SAN FRANCISCO – I blogged about Katie Couric leaving CBS sometime ago and I was right! The Oprah exit meant the Couric entrance. “Oprah leaving made it seem like it was feasible,” Couric said. “because to go up against Oprah would be pretty terrifying. I don’t think anybody could really do that.” To make room and money for Couric means cuts to Daytime Soaps. I have nothing against Katie Couric, she is a wonderful Journalist, however I cannot support the show unless ABC decides to keep the Soaps on air. I shall remain loyal to competitor Ellen DeGeneres and Soap Operas. I wish Couric the best.
I have to give a shout out to Actor Jensen Atwood. What I love about Jensen is he interact with his fans. When you read his tweets, he invites his fans to come see him , say hello and don’t be afraid to approach him…. I grew up listening to The Jackson 5 then The Jacksons lol. Every girl had a crush on 1 of the guys and, my crush was on Jackie..lol I did see Jackie one year in the Hollywood Parade, Oprah had the same crush, however, Oprah is a Maga Star who can pick up the phone and say “I Want Jackie” lol I can’t do that Now back to The Jacksons, I watched the reality show they had and I LOVE the single that Jackie wrote. Maybe Mrs. Jackson could step in and get them together or Papa Joe lol Whomever or whatever it takes I want to hear the Single that Jackie wrote and at least do one more tour. I know their heart is mourning over Michael and it’s not the same without him, I just want 1 more tour from the Jacksons. Where do I start? What is going on in Hollywood with Charlie Sheen, Chuck Lorre and Two In A Half Men? Let me get to the point! Attorney Ron Olsen and John Spiegel should get everyone involved together in one office, order food, sit down and TALK about what to do. Two And A Half Men will not survive without Charlie Sheen, they may get to 1 season without him and know it will be over so the smart thing to do is talk, work things out and get the show back on the road, I know the cast members are hurting and so are the fans…. TALK TO EACH OTHER AND NOT AT EACH OTHER. Good luck and I hope the network and producers will grow up and work thing out. If not all they have to do is call me. Charlie Is The Show.

I had tears in my eyes watching Oprah and her newly found sister Patricia, I am so happy for the both of them and one thing is for sure Patricia is a decent woman, she could have gone to the press with her information and made tons of money….. I am so proud of here, It’s not about the money it’s about family and having someone you can trust……
I wish Oprah and Patricia a long healthy sister relationship and they get closer and closer every second of the day….
