Korea’s prominent openly-gay celebrity Hong Seok-cheon revealed that his relationship with current boyfriend was on the rocks. On an episode of JTBC’s “Park Kyeong-rim‘s Oh! Happy Day” to be aired on April 25, Hong said he regretted having talked about his boyfriend publicly.
“After his identity was revealed, he feels as if he is being watched. It’s gotten to a point where I’m wondering whether I should let him go”, said Hong of his twenty-something boyfriend. “Regardless, even if I were to break up with him, he will be the center of attention again, so it’s a dilemma”.
Hong also took the opportunity to say that Korean society was still a lot behind when it came to accepting homosexuality.

Jennifer Hudson listened with her head down and eyes closed as a police officer testified Tuesday about finding her mother’s body in a pool of blood in the living room.
As prosecutors introduced evidence about the murder scene, Hudson sat next to her fiancé in the Chicago courtroom while Sgt. David Dowling also described finding the bloodied body of Hudson’s brother in bed.
Later, Hudson left the courtroom with her sister, Julia, avoiding the testimony of a forensic investigator who identified crime-scene photos that showed the bodies.
The grisly testimony came in the second day of the trial of Hudson’s former brother-in-law, William Balfour, charged with fatally shooting her mother Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and 7-year-old nephew Julian King in 2008.
The Oscar-winning actress was the first witness on Monday, breaking down on the stand as she told the jury that the family had warned Julia against marrying Balfour because he treated her badly.
Sgt. Dowling testified that Hudson’s mother was found in the South Side Chicago house with gunshot wounds to the back and that her brother had a gunshot wound to the head.
A search for the then-missing nephew ended three days later with the boy’s body being found in an SUV, another witness testified.
Boy band TVXQ finished their Japanese tour on a high note on Monday, ending a journey they began in January that saw them cover nine cities including Yokohama, Fukuoka and Nagoya.
They wrapped up the tour with three performances in as many days at the 45,000-capacity Kyosera Dome in Osaka. Thousands of fans packed the area near the stadium for hours before the concerts began, and many stood and cheered throughout the three-hour-long shows.
This tour was TVXQ’s first solo concert in Japan since 2010, when the pop quintet downsized to a two-man band after the other members left to form JYJ. The duo’s agency, SM Entertainment, said, “The 26-show tour attracted a total of 550,000 concertgoers and brought in around W100 billion in ticket revenues and merchandise sales (US$1=W1,140)”.
No other Korean group has attracted an audience of this size on a Japanese tour, it added.
Chris Brown and aspiring model Karrueche Tran are still going strong after about five months together — and Tran, 23, made a point of publicly reconfirming the romance via Twitter and Instagram on Monday.
In an intimate, romantic pic, Tran and the “Forever” singer, 22, kiss passionately, with idyllic backdrop of the beach right at sunset behind them.
“Head over heels,” Tran wrote beneath the pic.
No response — yet — from Rihanna, who warred with Tran in early March via Facebook and Twitter. “We Found Love” singer Rihanna seemed to kick off a feud with a March 3 TwitPic that could be interpreted as a racist jab at Tran, who is half-Vietnamese: A bag of rice cakes with gold earrings and black shades, along with the caption, “Ima make u my bitch.”
(Source told Us Weekly that Rihanna and abusive ex Brown, who recently collaborated on two remixes together, had been secretly hooking up again for over a year.) Tran retaliated with a reference to the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie/Jennifer Aniston love triangle. “I’m Angeline [sic], you’re Jen. C’mon you see where Brad is at,” she sniped.

According to New York Daily News, American authorities want to try Joran Andreas Petrus van der Sloot on charges of extortion and wire fraud in the Holloway case.
“I think he will be extradited within the next three months,” said Van der Sloot’s attorney, Maximo Altez. “He will go to trial in the United States. Once he is sentenced, he will return to Peru to finish serving his 28 years, and then go back to the States to serve whatever sentence he gets there.”
According to the report, the only delay is Van der Sloot’s appeal against the extradition, which should be finished in a month.
Van der Sloot was indicted by an American grand jury in 2010 after he allegedly attempted to extort $250,000 from Holloway’s mother for information on her whereabouts. She ended up shelling out $25,000, but the Dutch citizen provided what appears to be false information.
He allegedly used that money to travel to a poker tournament in Peru. If found guilty of extortion, he could face up to 24 years in prison.
Natalee Holloway, who was 18 when she disappeared on a class trip to Aruba, has never been found. Van der Sloot was never charged with her murder, but is believed to be the last person to see her alive and is widely suspected in her death.
