Chelsea’s John Terry has been banned for three matches for his dismissal in the Champions League semi-final.
UEFA have confirmed the Blues captain will miss Chelsea’s next two European matches following his red card in the semi-final second leg against Barcelona.
The defender sat out Chelsea’s victory over Bayern Munich in the final, as he served a mandatory one-match ban. UEFA’s disciplinary panel added two more games to the suspension, after ruling Terry was guilty of violent conduct when he struck his knee into the back of Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez in the April 24 clash.
The centre-back is now ineligible for the Super Cup match against Europa League winners Atletico Madrid in August, as well as Chelsea’s first Champions League group-stage game in September. Terry and Chelsea have three days to decide whether to appeal against the decision.
Meanwhile, midfielder Juan Mata has vowed to improve next season despite shining for the Blues since joining the club last summer.
Mata, 24, moved to Stamford Bridge from Valencia last year and was a pivotal part of the side which ended the season with success in both the FA Cup and Champions League under interim manager Roberto Di Matteo.
He said: “My focus is to continue improving. I am young as a footballer and I have to improve my game and my statistics over the next year, this is what I will try to do. You cannot rest on what you have achieved, you must look to the future and hope for more success.”
He said: “Lifting the Champions League was an unbelievable experience – the biggest club trophy you can win – and, for me, winning the Player of the Year trophy makes me feel very happy, proud and grateful.” According to, The London Standard.

TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin should have Twitter accounts to communicate with fans.
Yunho and Changmin may not want one because of JYJ’s Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu have Twitter accounts;however, they don’t have to tweet each other publicly, they can,of course, tweet each other privately.
Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu’s lawsuit against S.M. Entertainment is still ongoing while Yunho and Changmin are still signed to that company which may be a little akward for Yunho and Changmin to have Twitter accounts but why not have one to communicate with their fans.
Although, Yunho and Changmin have Facebook, YouTube, and their official website but there’s one major problem with that and that’s problem is S.M. Entertainment staff who do the uploading of pictures and messages to send out to fans. However, Yunho and Changmin are seen doing video messages that they send out to fans but it’s not the same personal touch that Twitter has.
Yunho and Changmin were interviewed on KBS World for Arab fans and one of the questions the host asked was, do they have Twitter accounts? TVXQ’s leader Yunho answered No, we don’t have but we plan to have a way to connect with our fans, so, wait a little bit. Watch Changmin in the video, how he doesn’t answer this question.
Yunho and Changmin have millions of fans around the world that would love to see them upload pictures and read their tweets. They don’t have to follow any JYJ member if they don’t want to which would be really sad.
Jaejoong would be ecstatic if Yunho joined Twitter.
Yunho and Changmin, please consider getting Twitter accounts for your millions of adoring fans.

THIS STORY reads like Edison Chen Photo Scandal 2.0. A Hong Kong female singer finds herself a victim of a sex scandal when pictures of her behaving intimately with her ex-boyfriend were leaked on the Internet.
Shiga Lin, 23, was shocked to find that old photographs of her with K-Chek, a relatively unknown rapper, have been exposed. There are also another batch of photos showing K-Chek with another girl – Rainah, the 22-year-old wife of FAMA member 6Wing.
The pictures were taken in 2004 – most probably at K-Chek’s place – and showed a then 16-year-old Lin locking lips with K-Chek and nibbling at his ears, while the latter was seen showing his middle finger.
On Tuesday, a teary-eyed Lin had a press conference and admitted that she took the pictures with K-Chek, who was her ex-boyfriend during her high school years. She revealed that K-Chek was a friend of her classmate and they dated for a year before breaking up over personality differences.
Lin said she agreed to take the photos because she loved K-Chek very much and trusted him then.
When asked whether they had a sexual relationship, she replied: “We had done things that a couple would normally do. At this moment I don’t feel like talking to anyone. I have received a lot of text messages from my friends, but I need time to get over this.”
She said she had no idea how the pictures ended up being leaked and was shocked to find out through her friends.
“I don’t know and I don’t want to know (how),” she said.
The singer went on to reflect on her previous mistakes and promised to move on from the unpleasant episode.
“I used to hit the clubs and do a lot of meaningless stuff when I was young. Now I will work harder,” she said, adding that her career is not affected so far.
There are parties – including 6Wing – who suspected that this could be a publicity stunt orchestrated by K-Chek, who is releasing an album soon. However, Lin chose not to speculate, maintaining that she has zero contact with her former flame.
Meanwhile, 6Wing is furious that his wife was dragged into the controversy. The rapper defended his wife, saying that he was aware of her previous relationship with K-Chek and pointing a finger at the latter for allegedly broadcasting the intimate details of their relationship just to court publicity.
According to him, Rainah has turned over a new leaf since they tied the knot last year. She has since stopped hitting the clubs and become a good mother and wife, he said.
According to Asian Universe, recently a magazine published intimate photos of Shiga Lin and a rapper K-Chek. Yesterday Shiga held a press conference where she tearfully admitted she liked playing and partying during her teen years. Loved and trusted K-Chek, she took intimate photos with him and admitted she had a sexual relationship with him at the school age of 16. However, Shiga won’t try to get down to the source of where the pictures leaked. She just hopes from now on, she can start from fresh.
Yesterday at the press conference, Shiga appeared expressionless. She took a deep breath and expressed: “I admit I have dated the young man in the photo. We have taken intimate photos before. At the time, I only took those photos because I really loved and trusted him. As for how these photos leaked, I really don’t know nor will I go find out.”Shiga appeared very tensed and didn’t look at directly at the camera, but instead kept her head down. She couldn’t hold in her tears, so the staff handed tissues to her. She admitted as she teared up, she was ignorant as a teenager and made mistakes: “I admit I liked to go play and party as a teenager, done a lot of ignorant things and wasted a lot of my time. In the recent years, I really want work hard on my jobs. This incident has worried my family, friends and company, I really want to come out and bravely face the things I’ve done.”
During interviews with the press, Shiga admitted she met K-Chek through a classmate and dated him for a year. As for K-Chek implying they had a sexual relationship, Shiga expressed: “These things will happen when a boy and girl are dating. (Will there be even more erotic pictures?) In my memory, they isn’t. I don’t think I will go further on how this incident happened, I just feel very disappointed, really unhappy and it’s very sudden.”
Shiga sobbed as she said the set of photos do indeed exist (its real), but she does not know the other female victim (Six Wing@FAMA’s wife). Is she worried her boyfriend might leak out more photos? She said: “No, there will definitely be intimate photos when dating because you really like that person and want to keep photos for memories. Pictures will be taken for each relationship.” Shiga is thankful to have her family and company’s support and understanding. In the future, she will concentrate on her work and will protect her personal photos.

The China Post news staff–Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi denied yesterday media reports that she had allegedly “interacted” with Bo Xilai, the former Communist Party boss of China’s Chongqing City in exchange for “huge” monetary gifts.
Zhang, who is currently shooting a new film in southern China, said on her personal microblog that many people “can take wind as rain” using their imaginations.
Her statement was taken as a denial of the media allegations about the sex scandal.
U.S.-based Chinese-language news website Boxun, the Apple Daily published in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and other Chinese-language media reported that the 32-year-old actress slept with Bo at least 10 times between 2007 and 2011.
Zhang was allegedly under investigation by the Chinese government for being paid to have sex with Bo, who was removed from his powerful political position after coming under investigation after the incident involving Wang Lijung, a former Chongqing vice mayor. Wang allegedly “defected” to the U.S. Consulate in Chengdu City, of Sichuan province, in February.
The media reports said that Zhang and Bo were first introduced by Bo’s associate, Xu Ming, 41, who is the founder and chairman of Dalian Shide Group when Bo was party boss in Dalian City.
Unconfirmed reports said that Xu confessed to paying Zhang 6 million Chinese yuan in 2007 to personally have sex with her for the first time.
Xu later negotiated a deal for Bo to have sex with Zhang for 10 million yuan.
The Chinese media reports estimated that Zhang’s sexual transactions with various rich and powerful figures have netted her 700 million yuan over the last 10 years, including 180 million yuan in cash from Xu alone.
Her wealth accumulated from prostituting herself was not taxed mainly due to intervention from Xu and some senior Chinese government officials, said the reports.
In 2009, Zhang was accused of cheating a married businessman of a huge sum of money, with whom she was alleged to be sexually involved with, while still engaged to an Israeli billionaire.
The Chinese media also reported in April that wealthy businessman Xu introduced more than 100 women to Bo for sex and that the women included household-name celebrities.

AWWW … Just like a scene taken from a Taiwan melodrama, Mandopop star Ella Chen and her Malaysian husband, Alvin Lai, held their lavish wedding reception at a hotel in Malacca last Saturday night.
Oh, boy, security at the event was tight! A dozen Rela members and 10 bodyguards were hired by the Lai family to keep pressmen and fans at bay.
A source from the hotel told Star2 that the groom paid an estimated RM112,000 for the wedding reception.
“He paid RM1,400 per table and asked for 80 tables,” the source added. “Alvin comes from a well-to-do family. His parents wouldn’t allow him to marry a superstar like Ella if he didn’t have the money.”
The couple’s romantic ivory white wedding extravaganza was attended by around 800 family members and friends of the 35-year-old groom who hails from Malacca.
Mind you, Chen, 30, had four costume changes at her Malaysian wedding do.
“Hosting our wedding reception here gives me a different feel,” said the blushing bride shortly before the feast began. “The weather is hot. But I’m happy and I’ll try to be a good Malaysian daughter-in-law (and wife).”
Asked if she’s used to being called Mrs Lai, a radiant Chen held her hubby’s hand and said, “I’m so used to it already.”
Their yam seng (toast) party ended around midnight.
Earlier in the morning, Chen had met her in-laws according to full Chinese wedding tradition, Hokkien-style.
While her hubby was offered two apples (for good luck) by her nephew as he arrived at the hotel in a Porsche Cayenne, she was sheltered with a hand-woven tray by a tai kam jie (the lady-in-waiting or chaperon) and wore a veil as she was whisked away to the Lai family mansion in Ujong Pasir.
The newlyweds served tea to the groom’s parents as a show of respect. They also offered prayers at the Lai ancestral altar.
The ceremony was witnessed by Chen’s parents who had flown in from Taipei to give the bride away.
Having stayed in Malacca since last Wednesday, the super busy couple returned to Taipei on Sunday.
“We have to put our honeymoon plans on hold ’coz we’re just too busy working,” Chen said. “No plans to have a baby for the next two years but if God wants to give us our bundle of joy soon, we’ll accept it happily.”
The couple had dated for a year before they tied the knot in a glitzy, star-studded affair in Taipei on May 5.
TILLMAN’S CORNER, Ala. — Detroit Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley has been arrested in Alabama on charges of driving under the influence and attempting to elude police, his second arrest in his home state in two months.
Seifert: Stupidity Tries
Nick Fairley is the latest Lion to get arrested this offseason, a trend that has gone from silly to just plain stupid, Kevin Seifert writes. Blog
Alabama state troopers say the 24-year-old passed a state trooper early Sunday morning at 100 mph in his Cadillac Escalade in unincorporated Mobile County. After initially refusing to stop for the trooper’s emergency lights and siren, Fairley pulled over and seemed impaired. He was arrested without incident.
Fairly was also cited for reckless driving, no proof of insurance and open container. Fox10TV.com reported Fairley posted $1,750 bond and was released shortly after 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Lions spokesman Bill Keenist says the team is aware of the reports and is gathering information. Fairley’s agent did not immediately return a call from The Associated Press seeking comment Sunday.
Fairley also was arrested April 3 in Mobile on a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge after citizens called to complain that Fairley’s Escalade was speeding through a lower-middle class neighborhood in Mobile.
Fairley was a standout at Auburn and the Lions’ first-round draft pick in 2011. As a junior, he was the Lombardi award winner as the nation’s top lineman and helped lead the Tigers to the 2010 national title.
However, Fairley struggled through his rookie year, playing in just 10 games because of a foot injury. He finished the season with 11 tackles and one sack.
Lions running back Mikel Leshoure also pleaded guilty earlier in May to a marijuana possession charge, two months after police discovered him with pot in his mouth during a traffic stop in southwestern Michigan. Leshoure was also a member of the Lions’ 2011 draft class, taken with the 25th pick of the second round.

Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore pulled strings to get her family’s live-in housekeeper food stamps, cash assistance and Medicaid benefits, according to an internal report from the county’s Department of Social Services.
For the past year, Social Services has been probing how DiFiore’s housekeeper was suddenly approved for welfare benefits after having been previously denied three times for inconsistencies in her applications, The Post has learned.
“Okay we got to the bottom of this case. This was a political favor for Janet DiFiore’s maid. It is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE,” Dhyalma Vazquez, a county anti-fraud investigator, wrote in an internal e-mail June 30, 2011.
Vazquez, who also chairs the Yonkers Independence Party, alleged in the e-mail to Department of Social Services Commissioner Kevin McGuire that DiFiore’s housekeeper, Jamaican immigrant Marina Buchanan, should never have received benefits.
In a series of e-mails from June and July of last year, Vazquez claimed that DiFiore, a Republican-turned- Democrat, had Buchanan’s case file improperly re-opened after the Yonkers branch office denied benefits.
Buchanan, 58, was paid $200 a week in cash by DiFiore and got $315 a month in Social Security disability benefits, according to documents obtained by The Post.
It is unclear from the documents if Social Security taxes were paid on Buchanan’s wages.
Buchanan, who claimed she was a nanny and housekeeper for DiFiore since 1987, also didn’t disclose receiving the Social Security disability benefits while still working up to 18 hours a week for the DA.
Further, she had a credit card with a $55,000 limit, sources said, yet still sought county benefits.
“The question is why the special favor. Why are cases being opened in Central Office . . . Just because she is the District Attorney does not mean she is above the law!” Vazquez wrote.
County investigators are looking at the actions of a former Social Services official who is active in local Democratic politics, sources said.
Reached by phone, Vazquez, who has been with Social Services for 20 years, cited the ongoing investigation and declined to comment.
DiFiore’s spokesman, Lucian Chalfen, said, “It is a personal issue that is related to her and her husband and I can’t comment.”
Her three children are now all in their 20s. It’s unclear if Buchanan still works for DiFiore, who was first elected DA in 2005.
Buchanan, who could not be reached for comment, wrote in documents that she left the DA’s employ in May 2010.

One of the most unbelievable pregnancy claims has been confirmed as a hoax. Karla Vanessa Perez told a major Mexican news station she was pregnant with nine kids.
Mexico’s main broadcaster Televisa broke the story of the 32-year-old mother’s record-breaking multiple pregnancy Thursday, andmajor news outlets around the world picked it up overnight. Gawker already has a tabloid-ready nickname for her: “Nonomom.”
But by end of day Friday, the local newspaper in Perez’s Mexican town challenged her claims. According to a reporter from El Diario de Coahuila who spoke with Perez’s mother, she is not pregnant at all. A Telemundo reporter also claimed to have evidence that Perez is lying, according to MSNBC. By Friday evening, Reuters, one of the first major U.S. news outlets to pick up the original story, confirmed what we were already beginning to think. We’d been had.
Televisa says she provided them with very convincing evidence of her condition, including an ultrasound. Health officials and local politicians were rallying behind her and she was willing to speak on camera about the whole thing. In the video of a news broadcast, Karla appeared remarkably calm considering what she said lay ahead. That should have been a tip off.
But maybe the world just wanted to believe. The idea of the ‘mega-multiple mom’ has become a modern day Icarus story. A symbol of how medical advancements can lead to amazing physical feats and unexpected problems. See Kate Gosselin’s rise and fall, and Octomom’s perpetual tragedy. The less well-known moms of septuplets (an average of one per year in the U.S.) grapple with the very serious health risks of carrying so many children, and later the financial burdens of raising them. For those who know them it’s a personal challenge, but for the public at large, it’s a curiosity, and one that an entire network once rested its laurels on (yes you, TLC). In popular culture, mothers of 6 or more multiples are considered acrobats, superheros, biological anomalies and reflections of our complicated relationship toward motherhood. The thought that a woman, namely Perez, had taken it all one step further was just curious enough to stifle our cynicism.
It’s not clear how many people were involved in Karla’s hoax, but her story roped a lot of people in. After claiming financial hardship, her town mayor Ernesto Cepeda Valdes, promised to be “like godparents to those babies and give all the support we can.” He’ll probably be taking that promise back now.
Just over the border in Houston, an undisputed mother of mega-multiples is recovering after her emergency delivery. Laura Perkins gave birth at 30 weeks to three boys and three girls ranging in size from 1 pound 10 ounces to 2 pounds 15 ounces. Five of the babies are doing well, though Perkins reports on her blog that one is in more critical state. “One baby is sick, but making progress,” reads a blog update on the Perkins’ site. “In the NICU, things change hourly so we’re constantly getting updates.”
In contrast to the great Nonomom fiasco, Perkins is a sobering reminder. Multiple pregnancy is very real, very serious and something nobody can pretend to understand unless they’ve been there.
According to MSNBC, reports that a Mexican woman is pregnant with nine babies are not true, according to El Diario de Coahuila, the local newspaper in the town were the woman lives.
Mexican television stations aired interviews with Karla Vanessa Perez of the northeastern state of Coahuila, which borders Texas, where she claimed fertility treatments led to this multiple pregnancy and also that she already had triplets.
The story was widely reported by various media outlets, including msnbc.com.
But when reporters from the Mexican newspaper investigated, they learned she’s actually not pregnant at all. Her mother, Francisca Castañeda, told El Diario de Coahuila that Perez has three children, ages 15, 12 and 4 and after the last was born, had an operation to prevent her from getting pregnant again.
David Vila, a reporter with Telemundo, also contacted the office of Mexico’s Secretary of Health, which confirmed she wasn’t pregnant. The office had initially reached out to her to offer to help.
José Salvador Gallegos Mata, a member of the Mexican Society of Gynecology and Urology told the newspaper that someone who would make such false claims “needs to urgently say ‘I’m here. Please look at me, I exist.’” He added, “That woman needs urgent psychological treatment.”

Mikhail Kravchenko’s neighbour believes he may have been intended target
Vakha Evloev drives identical Mercedes and survived previous assassination
He is also Moscow representative for volatile region with terrorist problem
Kravchenko, 46, has also lived through two botched attempts on his life
His furniture business had been raided by police and set alight four times
Friend: ‘He knew he was in danger, but didn’t want to live in security bubble’
The murder of Princess Michael’s Russian ‘toyboy’ could have been a case of mistaken identity, according to the politician who believes he was the intended victim.
A senior official and neighbour, who drives an identical Mercedes car and was previously targeted by an assassination squad, has been told by police they are probing whether the killers got the wrong man.
Furniture tycoon Mikhail Kravchenko, 46, who accompanied the princess on a four-day break in Venice in 2006, was buried last week after he was gunned down just 50 yards from his home in an elite village near Moscow.
His neighbour, Vakha Evloev, 51, is the Moscow representative for Ingushetia, a volatile republic in the Caucasus region of southern Russia with a significant terrorist problem.
He said: ‘There is a suspicion that I was the true target, not Kravchenko, and they just mixed us up. We both drove dark blue Mercedes cars of the same model.’
But it also emerged today that Kravchenko knew for years that someone had wanted him dead after surviving two bungled murder attempts as well as four arson attacks at his Moscow factory.
It is understood Kravchenko – who despite his fears had no bodyguards – was killed close to Evloev’s high-security home near the historic village of Peredelkino, where writer Boris Pasternak penned Dr Zhivago.
‘I live not far from here and have CCTV cameras on my cottage, maybe they captured the killers,’ he said. ‘I have picked up the videotapes and passed them to police.’
Evloev is now understood to be under increased security.
A cousin of the ex-president of Ingushetia, Ruslan Aushev, Evloev was severely wounded in May 2008 when his car was shelled by automatic firearms in Nazran, the regional capital.
While the men do not look similar, the shooting – using handmade weapons – was at around 2am in a dimly lit lane.
Police say that Kravchenko, who built his business empire around his £130million-a-year March 8 furniture brand, was shot up to ten times before being hauled from his car and finished off with a bullet to the head.
Kravchenko’s circle claimed initially he had no enemies and was not concerned over his safety.
But a close friend has now said that he knew he was a marked man.
‘He knew he was in danger. We discussed it many times, but he didn’t want to live in a security bubble, the source told the Sunday Times.
‘He was reluctant to discuss security but, especially recently, he felt more at risk.’
After his funeral in Moscow last week, attended by several thousand mourners led by his elderly parents, friends also alleged he was under pressure from sinister forces seeking to grab his business assets.
He had been subjected to police raids in a move seen as pressurising him into giving up his assets.
The retail furniture business is seen as a notoriously shady sector in Russia and friends said he had battled various attempts to seize his company.
Kravchenko himself had complained of his sofa designs being pirated, yet he seemed unconcerned over any threats.
‘Mikhail had problems with the law-enforcement organs,’ insisted retail consultant Dmitry Potapenko, a close friend.
‘People were after his assets. The murder was not an accident. These people knew what they were doing. He was the head of the holding, he was the key figure, uniting the companies.’
He claimed collusion between the police and shadowy business figures led to Kravchenko’s murder.
Yet a close friend, famous TV presenter Nikolai Drozdov, with him shortly before he died, said Kravchenko was not concerned about his personal safety in his final hours.
‘He did not have a bodyguard, he drove himself everywhere in an old Mercedes,’ he said.
Another close business ally said: ‘This version of mistaken identity is certainly possible.’
Police are understood to be working on a number of theories and are checking his computers and mobile phone for clues.
Kravchenko was at the centre of a royal scandal in 2006 after being photographed hand-in-hand with the married princess in Venice, raising questions about the state of her marriage to Queen’s cousin Prince Michael of Kent.
Both denied an affair.
The princess – and her husband, who also knew Kravchenko – was last week said to be ‘very distressed’ over her friend’s murder.
Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are investigating claims against pop star Justin Bieber by a paparazzo who says the 18-year-old got into a scuffle with him Sunday.
According to the department, the photographer in question told deputies that he’d been taking pictures of Bieber at the Commons at Calabasas when he got into a physical altercation with the star. Bieber was reportedly with his 19-year-old girlfriend, Selena Gomez, at the time.
The photographer also said Bieber and Gomez left before deputies arrived at the scene.
According to the sheriff’s department, the pap complained of pain and was taken to a hospital for treatment. He was later released.
TMZ reports that detectives want to speak with Bieber, Gomez and anyone else who witnessed the alleged incident.
Although Bieber hasn’t publicly addressed the report – and his reps haven’t responded to requests for comment – he did tweet after midnight Monday that he was “gonna focus on the important stuff. the music.” According to CNN.

According to Newscore, Will Ferrell and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay put their bodies on the line for charity as a celebrity-filled soccer friendly in the UK turned ugly.
Ferrell limped off the field in considerable pain with a leg injury late in Sunday’s annual Soccer Aid game at Manchester United’s Old Trafford but will have counted himself more fortunate than Ramsay, who earlier was hospitalized following a heavy challenge.
“Hell’s Kitchen” star Gordon Ramsay was stretchered off the field while receiving oxygen, after being flattened by former England international Teddy Sheringham midway through the second half. He later was released from the hospital.

According to The Washington Post, Thursday night’s Howard Theatre concert — one of only six stops on a mini-tour of the United States — was a rare stateside performance by Babasonicos.
The Argentine rock band, which co-headlined Puerto Rico’s Indie Fest with psychedelic rockers MGMT last month, is accustomed to playing huge, sold-out venues in Latin America, and the audience of about 200 was treated to a (relatively) intimate show.
The band’s moniker combines the name of Indian guru Sai Baba of Shirdi and the Spanish title of “The Jetsons” cartoon (“Los Supersonicos”) — an unlikely juxtaposition that reflects its eclectic sound. Layering cheeky, brutally honest lyrics over a trippy electro-pop beat, the group can deliver lullaby-soothing balladry one minute and full-on rock-and-roll bluster the nex
Drawing from almost 20 years of material, Babasonicos’s set list was a good mix of old and new, highs and lows, obscurities and fan favorites.
