It was reported that singer-actor Kim Hyun-joong will be collaborating with popular Japanese group B’z for his sophomore Japanese album.
According to Gokpop website, on 1 May, KeyEast Entertainment stated, “Kim Hyun-joong has received the song titled “Heat” from beloved Japanese rock band, B’z, and has finished recording it.”
When asked, Kim Hyung-joong stated, “It was an honour working with B’z because I really enjoy their music and I feel that I was able to enjoy recording “Heat” with their help.”
It was also revealed that “Heat” will be included in his upcoming second Japanese single album, set to be released in July.
Earlier, during a press conference for his Japanese tour, the singer told media that he is interested in the duo and has requested a song from B’z through his Japanese agency, Universal Music.
B’z (pronounced as Bīzu) is a Japanese hard rock duo, composed of songwriter and lyricist Takahiro “Tak” Matsumoto and Koshi Inaba. Together, they have released 46 consecutive no. 1 singles, 24 no. 1 albums, and sold more than 80 million records in Japan. They were also the first band from Asia to have their handprints and signatures put up in the Hollywood’s RockWalk.
