It was reported that K-pop’s Big Bang leader, G-Dragon, will be performing at Hong Kong action star Jackie Chan’s charity concert.

According to Ten Asia, on 5 July, a representative of his agency, YG Entertainment revealed that the rapper will perform as a special guest at the significant event, which will be held in Hangzhou, China on 30 September.

“G-Dragon has agreed to perform at the charity show, but we have yet to decide on how many songs that he will be performing,” the representative added.

The charity concert is proceeds held to celebrate Jackie Chan’s appearance in 100 films. Its proceeds will be used to help the victims of the Sichuan earthquake.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon’s second studio album is set to be released on 14 August.

On August 9 K-POP girl group T-ara appeared at Incheon International airport, heading to Hong Kong for its upcoming concert.
Meanwhile, T-ara will hold its solo concert at Asia World Expo Arena, Hong Kong, on the 10th.

Top South Korean movie star Lee Byung-Hun, one of the best known faces of the “Korean Wave” of popular culture, married actress Lee Min-Jung on Saturday. The 43-year-old, who starred in last year’s blockbuster costume drama “Masquerade”, told reporters the wedding was “a dream come true” shortly before tying the knot with longtime girlfriend Lee.

Hall & Oates (Pop Legends) Has Never Won a Grammy “I Can’t Go For That”

Hall & Oates has never won a Grammy but the No. 1 selling duo of all time has won something else: hipster respect.

Putting aside those shoulder pads for a moment, Daryl Hall and John Oates looked like hand-picked opposites: The lanky blond Hall called himself the “more flamboyant” one, while the shorter dark-haired Oates — with his distinctive ‘stache — embraced his role as “worker bee.”

But their union came from no design, except by the music gods: The Temple University students met in an elevator, both trying to duck a gunfight that had broken out at the Adelphi Ballroom in 1967. Forty-six years later, they’re performing as a duo–again–at Outside Lands in San Francisco on Aug. 11. Not that they ever abandoned their partnership, but the two have been working on solo projects.
