“Even though I saw you off on your last journey..I still can’t believe this is real..the Jonghyun I’ve seen for the last 10 years was always bright and passionate.

You were an amazing person that gave laughter and joy to people around you..I respected that you sang with everything you had on stage and loved that when you were the most humane and warm person I knew off-stage.

I always thought of you as such a strong and awesome person..I feel stupid for being so limited in the way I saw you and I regret it..I was so close to you yet why couldn’t I see that side of you..why couldn’t I be there for hard things must have been..

I only found out now that you were enduring pain I can’t even imagine all alone..I’m so sorry..and you did so well..don’t hurt anymore and I pray that you can rest in the ever shining Jonghyun oppa..I will remember you forever..”

High1 Seoul Music Awards has officially posted an apology on their official website on January 23rd, following the shocking stage accident involvingTaeyeon the day before.

The music award show writes on their website’s front page, “Please accept our apologies for the incident, Taeyeon. In regards to the celebrations on January 22nd at Korea’s grand celebration the ‘24th High1 Seoul Music Awards,’ which was held at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium, girl group Girls’ Generation – TaeTiSeo’s Taeyeon had an unexpected accident while exiting the stage, to Taeyeon, the members, their agency, and to fans, we sincerely apologize.

We will explain the accident overview.

The accident occurred when the lift installed on stage was lowered hastily, as Taeyeon was exiting the stage following the members accepting their Bonsang and “Holler” stage.

Due to mis-communication, the stage crew had the lift lowered 1m halfway its full length of 1.8m, and Taeyeon missed her steps and fell down the lowered lift. The TaeTiSeo members Tiffany and Seohyun and the backup dancers immediately noticed and pulled her back up on stage. The stage team explained, ‘Due to the delays, the accident occurred when there were attempts to hurry up [to catch up] the event.’

Taeyeon received minor injuries due to her fall down the stage. She was immediately taken to the hospital for a checkup. She was diagnosed with ‘minor back muscle injury.’ Taeyeon returned home after being treated and checked.

The Seoul Music Awards organization committee has contacted SM Entertainment on January 23rd to give our sincere apologies to the members and Taeyeon, and have given our promise to cooperate with any follow-up necessary. In response, SM Entertainment said, ‘Taeyeon’s extent of her injuries are not serious. Thank you for following up.’

Despite the Seoul Music Awards’ many efforts for safety through rehearsals and safety training, this accident still occurred unexpectedly, and we would like to extend our sincere apologies to Taeyeon, the members, the agency, and fans. In addition, we sincerely hope, like fans, that Taeyeon makes a complete and successful recovery.”

Following TaeTiSeo’s “Holler” stage, the group proceeded to exit stage right when the middle stage lift was prematurely lowered causing Taeyeon to suddenly fall through. Staff and dancers, along with Tiffany and Seohyun, were seen immediately coming to her aid. Fortunately, according to updates fromSM Entertainment, Taeyeon suffered from a pulled muscle and is currently home resting as not to stress her injury.

Girls’ Generation Taeyeon shared her deep friendship with Super Junior member Heechul.

On October 7th’s episode of “On Style: The Taetiseo,” Taeyeon showed her warmful gratitude towards Super Junior’s Heechul.

When questioned if Taeyeon is thankful to Heechul for any reason, Taeyeon replied,“Besides Girls’ Generation members, I don’t have that many friends, especially any friends who I can share deep thoughts with, but Heechul is one of those friends.  He is similar [to me] and kind to me, and that’s why our friendship is the way it is.”

Heechul added, “Sometimes I feel really bad that Taeyeon has to act strong even when in situations where she can’t feel strong, but she never expresses it out loud, and I am proud of her for that. She was always there when I was having a hard time. So I am always thankful to her as well.”

Gillian Chung and Tyler Kwon were known to have dated since at least 2011, with media reporting their relationship in 2012. However, their relationship ended after marriage talks and rumors, and now he’s been rumored to be dating Jessica.
When Gillian Chung was asked about Tyler Kwon and Jessica’s marriage rumors, she responded curtly. Gilian revealed, “Really? Please tell me again when they get married, I’ll congratulate them. I haven’t contacted Tyler Kwon in a long time so I don’t really know about his situation.”
When media pressed further, asking her questions on Jessica she responded, “I don’t know anything about someone else’s issue. It’s not convenient for me to make any comments.”
Good for her, do you feel that media were pressing her for questions that are not related to her?

Girls’ Generation, KARA and Wonder Girls {K-Pop} Girl-Group Member Departures

Reblogged By:De De Tillman;  K-Pop – K-Drama;  Celebrity Blogger

Source: Koreaboo – 10Asia

Media: Koreaboo –  10Asia

On September 2014, Girls’ Generation became a group of 8, following steps of other recent girl-group member departures such as KARA and Wonder Girls.

Idols have been on an upward trend as of late, with the global power of Hallyu spreading across the world. From concerts in the US to Europe, there’s no doubt that K-Pop is a major trend. But now the first global wave of K-Pop is going through the hardest times of its history, and Girls’ Generation just joined the row.

While the very first idols of Korea in 1990’s suffered break-ups after 5 years, the 2nd generation of idols are seeing a massive loss of members.

Wonder Girls went through several member losses and recruitments, starting withHyuna, Sunmi, and now Sunye and Sohee. Although new recruits have been made, Wonder Girls never stood up again like their past, and after Sunye’s pregnancy and Sohee’s change in career to acting, the future of Wonder Girls seems quite bleak.

Kara recently made a new start after recruting their new member Youngji. Similar to Wonder Girls, Kara also faced departure of two core members, Kang Jiyoung andNicole Jung (Edit: KARA also lost member Kim Sunghee in 2008, 1 year after their debut). The remaining members and DSP Entertainment soon decided to recruit a new member through reality programmed audition, and eventually chose Youngji.

Although the two groups are not as popular as they used to be, they are definitely trying new methods. Wonder Girls is now focusing on Solo performances of the members, with Sunmi and Yenny successfully standing up as solo artists. Kara on the other hand is gaining positive responses with the recruit of their new member Youngji.

What will Girls’ Generation show us? The news of Jessica leaving the group surely was shocking, but nonetheless Girls’ Generation is still commencing their activities without her. The biggest issues Girls’ Generation faces is the absence of Jessica’s powerful vocals, which were key points in numerous Girls’ Generation songs.

What does this mean for the future of both the remaining members and departed members?

Jessica {Girls’ Generation} I Was Given a Notice Of Departure From Girls’ Generation

In the latest breaking news, Jessica has finally broken her silence after posting on Weibo and released an update to the media in the form of a letter.

Jessica’s letter comes just moments after Tyler Kwon updated his Weibo account, sending an encouraging message to Jessica as well as repeating that he has no plans to get married in the near future.

He then sent a message to Jessica on Weibo stating, “Hey, hang in there~! The truth about what really happened will be known – we all got your back!”

Jessica’s message reads as below:

Hello, this is Jessica.

I was given a notice of departure from Girls’ Generation by my agency on September 29th, and I cannot hide my shocked and upset heart about this, so I’m here to reveal my feelings.

I have always put the activities of Girls’ Generation’s before my business and personal life as a member of Girls’ Generation. However, despite my efforts for the team, the agency asked me to leave [the team].

As I was planning on creating the business I have shown a lot of interested in before, I sufficiently consulted SM as well as the members regarding my preparations many times, asking for their understanding.

Up until the beginning of August when I was launching “BLANC,” I made agreements and received permission from SM, and even congratulations from the members.

However, in early September, only a month following the launching, the members suddenly changed positions and held a meeting, telling me to either quit my business or leave Girls’ Generation without any justifiable reason.

I explained that I had already received permission from the agency, that I had never neglected Girls’ Generation’s activities, and I could not suddenly stop my business due to my contract with my business partner after only a month.

Ultimately, I pleaded that it was unfair to make me choose [between the group and her business]. Becoming a Girls’ Generation member was the best thing in my life, and I’ve never thought about quitting.

Shocked, I met with the agency’s CEO on September 16th about my position, and again, confirmed their permission for me to continue my business.

However, on September 29th, I was given a one-sided notice asking me to leave Girls’ Generation. Because of this, I was unable to attend the fan meeting in China on September 30th, and I have been excluded from following Girls’ Generation scheduled activities.

I have received great pain and cannot hide my sadness when I was asked by the agency and my fellow members, whom I’ve spent 15 years with, putting in all my passion and efforts, to leave Girls’ Generation just because I am starting my own business.

I also want to apologize for causing concern to all the fans. Understand that this is not the situation I imagined. I have always treasured Girls’ Generation and will continue to do so. Thank you for always supporting and love me.supporting and loving me.

Amidst the first concert in the Seoul World Cup Stadium for “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV,” recent couple Taeyeon and Baekhyun were seen as a duo onstage during performances.

Performances for either group had included both title track and album tracks hits. All in all, Taeyeon and the rest of Girls’ Generation had performed their debut song “Into the New World,” along with “Hoot,” “Kissing You,” and more hits. EXO too had performed “Let out the Beast” and “Growl.”

During the concert, the couple was soon seen to be standing side by side, though only for a short time. Taeyeon, who had come out first to the stage, was reported to have looked calm and happy. On the other hand, Baekhyun, who had joined her not long after, had said to the audience, “A lot of fans have come to see us. Please watch over our performances until the end. Thank you.”

All in all, the couple was seen live for the first time since the scandal first broke out nearly four months ago. Nonetheless, they looked comfortable being seen together, and as there are no reports of any trouble from the fans, it seems SONE’s and EXO-L’s have begun to accept their relationship.

What do you think of Taeyeon and Baekhyun as a couple now?

Since news broke out of EXO Baekhyun and Girls’ Generation Taeyeon’s relationship, EXO has been on tour and Baekhyun had not released a message to fans.

Now, he has left a message to fans on Instagram.

Hello, this is Baekhyun. Although it’s very late.. I’m leaving these words here to tell all the fans that I’m sorry for the disappointment and pain I’ve given you.

I’ve written and erased my words many times, but I felt as if I was just making excuses and didn’t have the courage to express my heart and resolve the misunderstandings.. I also thought that just saying this would also be meaningless.. So even now, I’m worried and my heart is uneasy that you might be hurt again because of this post and that I might regret putting this up.. But, I really wanted to express my sincere feelings so I’m writing this post.

I’m so sorry that I caused pain to fans who have always been precious to me. And I’m sorry again that I hurt you more through the misunderstandings that came from this situation.

I wish that.. our fans will no longer hurt.. Although I’m really undeserving, I will do my best to slowly approach you all again.. And EXO is a name that is so precious to me. I want to tell you that I’ve never thought of EXO lightly.

I will continue to strive to become EXO’s Baekhyun who does his best on and off stage. I hope that these words at least will come off sincere.

Baekhyun finally spoke up regarding his relationship with SNSD’s leader Taeyeon.

Ever since it has been reported that EXO’s Baekhyun and SNSD’s Taeyeon have been dating, the majority of fans have responded negatively to the event.

The reason is not because the two are in a relationship, but because of their secret messaging through such social media as Instagram, when fans believed it was specifically for fan service.

From fans calling Baekhyun a traitor on ”Inkigayo” to Taeyeon approaching a fan to apologize through tears, some netizens have commented that SONEs’ and EXO fans’ behaviors are going too far.

Taeyeon has apologized via Instagram, and stayed true to her apologetic feelings even in public.
