It was all a case of misunderstanding when Speed memberUehara Takako was spotted holding the hands of a child at the Naha Airport while she was visiting her hometown in Okinawa.

According to Tokyo Hive, a rumour started spreading that Ueharahad a child out of wedlock with fiancé ET-King member Tenn, when an airport staff had mistakenly identified the child to be hers. When Uehara first heard about the rumours from her mother, she clarified on her official blog that the child was not hers, but was her nephew.

However, Uehara was flattered that she was mistaken as the mother of the child, saying:

“If it looked like I was at ease holding my nephew, I am happy. I guess I looked like a mother.”

Uehara added that she would let everyone know ‘when that time comes’.
