Fashion magazine SURE revealed pictorials of Ku Hye Sun, who is returning with new series ‘Angel Eyes.’
Since Ku Hye Sun’s last film work ‘Peach Tree,’ it has been two years that she appeared in public. During the past two years, Ku was known to make paint works and hold exhibitions of her own.
In the pictorials, the most noticeable part was her feminine look. As many people know, the actress had kept boyish image for years with a short haircut, but she grew them for a change in her image and appealed more mature charms through the photos.
“To erase my similar acting patterns and image in the audiences’ memories, I needed some time to prepare. During the preparation time, I changed how I talk, how I act and how I appear with a new hairdo,” said the 30-year-old actress during the interview. Like Ku said, her long and bright hair color certainly exuded more mature and womanly mood.
Then she continued to say, “The characters I played in the previous series never had an experience of being in love so they somehow seemed very similar to one another. This time, I’m playing a true mellow drama character.” The actress seemed very confident while explaining her role in the new series.

Actress Jo Yoon-hee has raced into the limelight after years spent tiptoeing around its periphery by portraying an adorable woman in the KBS 2 TV drama “My Husband Got a Family“, which has been receiving top viewer ratings of between 30 and 40 percent.
“I’m so happy because I get recognized not only by young fans, but also by elderly people on the streets”, the 30-year-old actress said.
Jo has been involved in show business for more than 10 years. She was already quite famous while still in high school, when she posed for fashion magazines and appeared in a music video by singer Lee Soo-young. She also made her acting debut in a TV sitcom in 2002, but it has taken her a while to make a name for herself as an actress.
“Many people ask me whether I felt anxious over the years [when my career seemed to have stalled], but I’m actually quite laid back and slow to react, so I didn’t really think about why things weren’t working out as I’d hoped”, she said. “I think I’ve come this far slowly but steadily by working with whatever roles I was given”.
She will next try her hand in the thriller “Conspirators”, a movie set to be released next month in which she plays the tragic female lead. Jo named Shim Eun-ha as her role model, because “she was a great actress and people missed her so much after she retired. I want to be remembered like that”.

South Korean actress Park Si Yeon will be making her first appearance in a nude scene for the upcoming movie “The Scent”.
At the film’s premiere in Seoul on April 3, Park opened up at the press conference to reveal she felt pressurized shooting the nude scene, reported Korean media.
“When I first got the script, there was no sex scene. I did not know I had to go naked in front of camera until we started filming,” said Park.
The actress added it was tough for her as she had never done such a scene before.
It was only after several heated discussions with the director, Kim Hyung Joon, and co-star Park Hee Soon, that Park Si Yeon agreed to go ahead with the filming.
In the suspense thriller, Park Si Yeon plays the role of an attractive widow who holds vital information about her husband’s murder case while Park Hee Soon plays a detective who accidentally gets involved in the same case.
A sexual attraction between the two characters slowly developed as they clashed repeatedly to solve the murder case.
Director Kim Hyung Joon explained that the bed scene between the two leads was essential to bring out this sexual attraction.
“The main concept of this movie is femme fatale and I had Sharon Stone’s ‘Basic Instinct’ in mind when I was directing this film,” said Kim.
“Park Si Yeon’s physical temptation was necessary to portray that fatal attraction,” he added.
