CNCO {Latin American Boy Band} Racist and Insensitive Toward Kpop BTS

Latin American boy band CNCO was in an interview with iHeartLatino host Enrique Santos, but the interview took a very racist and insensitive turn towards BTS and the Korean language.

It was the host that first introduced the topic and compared CNCO to BTS, saying that BTS is basically the Korean version of them, to which the boys laughed somewhat awkwardly at.

The racism begins right after that when Enrique says “and the lyrics are great right?” and the CNCO boys start to sing in gibberish, mocking the Korean language.

he boys then continue to mock and make fun by singing their song “Mamita” in gibberish, at one point even saying “oppa Gangnam style”, which you can hear at 1:21.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk Says SHINee’s Jonghyun Visited Him In A Dream, And Delivered A Message

Reblogged By: De De Tillman

Since Jonghyun‘s sudden death, many of his close friends have been leaving messages for him. From SHINee members to other SM Entertainment artists, they have all grieved in their own ways.
Now, Super Junior‘s Leeteuk has shared his own message, explaining that Jonghyun had visited him in a dream, the day before the funeral.
Nobody could say they knew everything about you. No one was close enough for you to share everything with.
For the next while, I’m going to have to think hard about how lonely, angry and sad you had to be…why you made your final choice in the end and what you were trying to tell everyone who was left behind.
I’m sorry I couldn’t hold the hand that you reached out for me to hold harder. Because of this, my heart hurts even more.
The weight you were carrying was too much to handle for just being a celebrity. And you couldn’t do anything because you came too far to give anything up.
The day before I sent you off, you came to my dreams to tell me that I need to be happier, smiling brightly. I can still see that smile clearly in my head.
Leeteuk then talks about his own battle with depression, and how at one point he thought it would be better to die. He discusses how difficult it was in the military and opens up for the first time ever, about his deep struggles with life.
Everyone goes through hardship and sadness and you can’t compare who has it worse. To each person their emotion and situation could be the hardest to handle. I suffered from severe depression and I spent everyday thinking that it would be better to die then breathe on.
In the military they probably thought that I was putting on a show and that made things harder for me to handle. I spent 1 year enduring all that, so I know that if [Jonghyun] had even a little bit of an outlet, it would have been better….It’s Christmas and the word Christmas miracle rings in my heart.
From now, it’s important that we live happier I hope everyone makes all of their days as special as Christmas.
— Leeteuk

Kim Dong Hyuk {Final 7th iKON-Kpop Band} Member

Reblogged By: De De Tillman;  K-Pop , K-Drama Celebrity Blogger

Posted: Thursday November 6, 2014 @4:55 p.m PST

the final seventh member of YG Entertainment‘s upcoming boy group iKON has been revealed!

During the broadcast of YG Entertainment’s survival program MIX & MATCH, which aired on November 6th, Kim Donghyuk was announced to be the final confirmed member of iKON, who is set to debut in January 2015.

Known for his strong beliefs and persistence on pushing his trainees to go through a survival-format process to debut, CEO Yang Hyun Suk has had a group of nine male trainees endure harsh competition and criticism for the last six months in order to get them standing where they are today.

Six members of Team B, who were first introduced to the public in 2013 during their original survival program WIN: Who Is Next, failed to debut in the beginning of 2014 with an unfortunate loss to their brother group Team A, who are now known as WINNER. With much regret, Team B members Kim Jinhwan, Bobby, B.I, Koo Junhoe, Kim Donghyuk, and Song Yunhyeongwere put forth yet another set of challenges with the release of MIX & MATCH.

An addition of three completely new trainees, Jung Jinhyeong, Jung Chanwoo, and Yang Hongsuk, were placed among the previous six members to see if they could survive the training and brotherhood to fulfill their dreams of becoming an iKON member. Only seven of the nine trainees were announced to debut in the group, the remaining two trainees who fail to gain the most viewer votes getting eliminated from the group and possibly, even the agency.

Yang Hyun Suk previously confirmed that trainees B.I, Bobby, and Kim Jinhwan were already set as official members of iKON, which exempts them from all voting and leaves only the remaining six trainees’ positions unaccounted for unless voted into the group by the viewers of the show.

After six long months of Mix & Match training and competition, as well as an intense round of voting, the remaining four finalized members following Kim Jin Hwan, Bobby, and B.I have been revealed to be Koo Junhoe, Song Yunhyeong, Jung Chanwoo, and Kim Donghyuk.

Many fans have been showing their gratitude towards the nine iKON trainees, even before the finalization of all seven members, for their hard working efforts and for sharing the bittersweet memories with them throughout the whole process of their debut preparations.

Super Junior will be returning with a new album as early as the end of the month, as confirmed by SM Entertainment.

Just a few days ago, Koreaboo reported Super Junior had begun recording new tracks under the talented producing team, Team Onesound. Now, SM Entertainment has confirmed the return of the super group, as well as a new tour schedule with “Super Show 6.”

The upcoming album will include leader Leeteuk, who returned from his military duties and was discharged at the end of July. This will be the first album released by Super Junior since “Sexy, Free & Single” in 2012, which hailed the return of member Kangin from his military duties.

Super Junior’s return with a new album is expected to happen as soon as the end of August, said SM Entertainment, as they are already scheduled for “Super Show 6” on September 20 and 21 at the Jamsil Stadium in Seoul, further emphasizing their wish to release new songs before their first concert. Additionally, their comeback may also be delayed a week or two so that Super Junior may have more time to perfect their return performances.

“Super Show 6” is Super Junior’s third world tour, in which they will visit Japan, China, Thailand. Many more major cities around the world is planned.

Famous audition show “KPOP STAR 4” is holding global auditions throughout the summer within five locations in the U.S.!

The application process opened on June 1st, but the program will be accepting applications until the day of the audition, which depends on your closest location. The dates and locations that the auditions will be held are as follows:

Hawaii – Tuesday, July 29th at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort

Houston, Texas – Saturday, August 2nd at Stratford High School

Los Angeles, California – Saturday, August 2nd at the Edward R. Roybal Learning Center

New York, New York – Saturday, August 9th at the Queens Theatre at the Park

Seattle, Washington – Saturday, August 9th at The Westin Seattle

The official paper application is downloadable from the official site, and you must keep a copy as well as email it to the respective address of your chosen location. It is preferred that you fill out the application in Korean, though it is not necessary. However, knowing the Korean language itself is important during filming for the show. The respective email addresses for each location are listed below:

Necessary items to bring to the audition are an official ID (any passport, driver license, etc.), the application along with a picture, and the agreement form, which you can download from the official website. However, walk-in applications and auditions are also allowed, as long as all the forms and identification are brought in for validation. Further details and notifications of qualification may be revealed later via phone or email.

YouTube auditions are allowed as well, though the staff prefers that those who wish to audition show up in person to perform their segment. However, if the five set locations are too far, you are allowed to send in a video of any length. The steps are:

  1. Log-in to YouTube with your personal ID and upload your video
  2. Copy the URL of the video
  3. Visit; click the [YouTube Audition] button; click the [YouTube Submission] button below
  4. Type in email and password (4 digits) to log-in
  5. Put the necessary information (make sure it is all correct) on the submission page before pasting the video URL in.
  6. Click [Submit]

In order to re-access your application, just click back to [YouTube Submission] and log-in again with your email and password. “KPOP STAR 4” will then notify you of your admissions status via phone or email.

You still have relatively two to three weeks to perfect your skills for the upcoming auditions, so make sure to practice hard and arrive at your respective location (or send in your video) by the right date and at the right location!

Good luck to all those who have been planning to or will audition for this next season of SBS’s hit audition show, “KPOP STAR 4”!

f(x) have finally made their long-awaited comeback! After numerous teasers and concept photos, f(x) released their music video for “Red Light” on July 3rd.

Throughout the course of the week, SM Entertainment unveiled countless photos of each member (KrystalVictoriaLunaSulli and Amber) followed by a highlight melody and a group picture.

Seen from the photos and the music video, f(x) has taken on the military concept that’s shown through their dance and clothing choices. They have returned with a more chic and strong image which is fairly different from their last album, “Pink Tape.”

In the music video, the members showcase the choreography of the song as well as their new images. In particular, Amber’s bright red hair stands out. Musically, the track is reminiscent of f(x)’s previous releases, but with a more serious feel.

f(x) is scheduled to have their first stage on M! Countdown later today. They will then follow with Music Bank on the 4th, “Show! Champion” on the 5th, and Inkigayo on the 6th of July.
