Promotion company POWERHOUSE announced the ticket pricing and seating charts for 2PM‘s U.S tour on October 17th. The pricing ranges from $50 to $150 for each stop of the tour, which includes concerts in New Jersey, Illinois, Texas and California.
Girl group KARA has departed for Japan on August 27 to prepare and begin promotions for their upcoming Japanese single release, “MAMMA MIA,” which was recently released.
According to their agency, KARA will be spending one night and two days in Japan where they will conduct several interviews with the Japanese media such as Oricon Style, NHK and BS Asahi.
They will also perform a showcase in Odaiba at a large outdoor concert stage singing the songs “MAMMA MIA” and “So Good,” which will be aired live on Nihon TV’s program, “Sukkiri.”
Soon after they finish their 2-day promotions in Japan, KARA will be returning to Korea to continue their schedule there.
Meanwhile, KARA released their 6th mini-album “DAY & NIGHT” in Korean on August 18 while their 11th Japanese single “MAMMA MIA” was released on the 27th. Their newest Japanese single has gained a lot of attention in Japan as it is the first time they will be promoting with new member Heo Youngji.
The 2014 K-Culture Festival, scheduled to be held in Germany, has now officially been cancelled by the organizers of the concert. In a message to sent to attendees, the organizers claim they will not be able to refund VVIP tickets.
The event was originally scheduled to be held on September 12th and 13th, as a major cultural event. Described as “a major event where visitors can get a glimpse of Korea’s traditional culture and pop culture through art exhibitions, performances and food.”. The lineup featured Ailee, MBLAQ, BTOB, VIXX, GOT7, BLOCK B, and many more.
Unfortunately, the event’s expected attendance of 10,000 were abruptly told that the event would be cancelled. The organizers personal Facebook page was deleted suddenly, leaving fans with questions about refunds, flight preparations and more.
U-KISS modifies some dates on their upcoming concert tour in Europe!
Set to be holding their tour titled “SCANDAL European Tour 2014,” U-KISS announced some changes in their tour schedule today. Updating their official Twitter page, U-KISS confirmed that they will be visiting Moscow, Russia on September 22nd, instead of September 21st. The tour will continue as planned to London, United Kingdom on September 24th and Paris, France on September 28th.
A new version of the poster was also included with the announcement. Meanwhile, tickets are set to go on sale this week through squall.su and aziaevents.com.
Revealed through the official Facebook page for the group, the messages reads, “NU’EST Latin America Tour is decided! 20th of Sep Peru, 24th of Sep Chile, 27th of Sep Brazil. We will notice about the further information later on.”.
After years of silent envy, East Coast K-pop fans finally caught a break with the crazy amount of K-pop concerts in the fall of 2011. But now it’s the West Coast’s time once again, and in a big way.
SM Entertainment’s stable of huge artists like Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, and TVXQ will be traveling to Los Angeles, California for a second time after their first appearance back in 2010. While the Hollywood Bowl and Staples Center get most of the attention from K-pop artists in SoCal, the venue this time around will be the Honda Center.
LA will be only the first stop of many for the tour which kicks off on May 20. The tour is also set to go to Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, and various other Asian venues.
Speculation as to whether EXO will be at the concert in LA is all over the place, but there hasn’t been any official word as to the lineup of artists set to attend. The LA concert is also to be held jointly with MBC, with a broadcast titled “MBC Korean Music Wave in LA-SMTOWN SPECIAL!” to air sometime after the concert.
