Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo have been acting closer and closer recently, leaving the rest of the Running Man cast awfully suspicious there is something going on between the two.

When Song Ji Hyo presented her idea, she focused on the idea of equality rather than trying to attract attention with Kim Jong Kook’s body.

“I didn’t think of using Kim Jong Kook’s exposed body. We’ll all be equal and wearing tights or all be in the same positions.”

This might just be the last time that fans will see the complete line-up for Running Man once their run on SBS ends.

As previously confirmed, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Ha Ha, Lee Kwang Soo, and Song Ji Hyo will tour Asia until the end of March. Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo both confirmed their attendance even despite the controversy with its producers.

According to multiple broadcasting officials, all members (except Yoo Jae Suk) will start the tour in Taipei, Taiwan on February 1 and will continue to Macau, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and more. Fans began to show strong interest in the Taiwan and Macau fan meetings as soon tickets were released.

Just before the year ended, the program was involved in a controversy which led to the ultimate demise of the program. At present, any plans for additional members and a new season have been canceled.

Viewers got a more than they expected on this week’s Running Man when Kim Jong Kook was unexpectedly stripped naked against his will.

Aired on June 7th, the historical themed episode featured the Running Man cast as rich merchants from the Joseon Dynasty against BIGBANG and Kim Jong Kook as Roman gladiators.

During the water basketball showdown, Lee Kwang Soo – as per norm as the “Icon of Betrayal” – took it upon himself to sabotage Kim Jong Kook and with the help of Yoo Jae Suk – who ripped his shirt off – managed to take off the singer’s shorts leaving him quite bare. Fortunately (unfortunately?) he was hidden underneath the sandy water as he sat in a fetus position.

Yoo Jae Suk brings Kim Jong Kook’s underwear back laughing, wringing the water out for him before trying to “air dry” it on the long microphone stand.

Fans say goodbye to Mikey of Turbo who returned back to the United States on the 29th (KST). He recently came back to Korea for a week long activity.

Although a week long comeback leaves much regret to many fans and Mikey himself, he promises that he will not be gone forever.

According to Turbo, “Mikey is leaving today. After television broadcasts and fan meetings, he spent some time meeting up with his old friends. Once he goes back to America, he will begin to work in the insurance field. Now is not the time and place to resume in the entertainment industry, however, it is known that Mikey and Kim Jong Kook have discussed about their future plans as well.”

Recently, Kim Jong Kook and Mikey have reappeared as Turbo on SBSInkigayo‘s 800th episode. Kim Jung Nam joined the two to hold a fan meet at a coffee shop nearby. They had an hour long chat about their lives since Turbo and even discussed their future plans with the fans.

Kim Jong Kook has expressed his gratitude regarding Turbo’s recent activities saying, “I was happy to be with Jung Nam hyung once again through Infinite Challenge – TOTOGA. As hyung received much love, it also reminded me of another member of Turbo, Mikey. I am happy to perform ‘December’ with Mikey for the 800th special episode.”

Meanwhile, Turbo’s old hits, including, “My Childhood Dream,” “Love Is,” “White Love,” “Twister King,” and more made it up to the higher ranks on the music charts.
