Harper’s BAZAAR chose a rockstar for the cover of their March 2014 issue: Lady Gaga. Photos taken by Terry Richardson, they’re every bit as edgy, cool and sexy as you’d expect.
We love her interview with Harper’s because like Gaga, it’s not very traditional. Filled with rapid-fire questions expected (“What was the first big musical moment in your life?”) and unexpected (“Do you believe in ghosts?”), Gaga’s answers are candid and honest.
When asked what people of the future will think about today’s fashion, Gaga said: “I’m not sure. I imagine that there will be a revival of some of these aesthetics-the more bold ones. Those who have watered down themselves for “sale” might make money now, but they are shortchanging their legend. I always think to myself, How do I want to be remembered? I don’t want to be remembered as anything but brave. The only good intention to make money is to help others. I want to be Oprah. I want to be Melinda Gates. If I ever sell products other than my talents, then it will be to give more to others.”
She told BAZAAR that her home is “like a tiny jewel box, covered in rose-gold mirrors, with an oversize pink couch, an expensive vase, a white Marilyn piano, and a boudoir.” And if you were wondering, yes, she believes in ghosts. “I have many old souls around me all the time.” Her guilty pleasure? “Russian hookers and cheap gin. At least I’m honest.”
This year’s Billboard Icon Award is going to legendary singer, songwriter and producer Stevie Wonder. The honor will be presented at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, which airs live May 20 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET from the MGM Grand Arena.
With memberships in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Wonder is one of the most celebrated artists in popular music history. Since bursting onto the scene in 1963 at age 13 with the chart-topping hit “Fingertips (Pt. 2),” Wonder has amassed 32 No. 1 singles and released a string of iconic albums including “Songs in the Key of Life,” “Talking Book” and “Music of My Mind.”
Wonder follows in the footsteps of fellow legend Neil Diamond, who was given the Icon Award at the 2011 ceremony.
Hosted by Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell of the ABC hit comedy “Modern Family,” the BBMAs will also have a star-studded roster of presenters this year. Brandy and Monica, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Sara Ramirez, Wiz Khalifa and Lil Wayne join previously announced presenters Taio Cruz, Gavin DeGraw, Gladys Knight, Julianne Hough, Natasha Bedingfield and Jeremy Sisto, along with musical acts Kelly Clarkson, Linkin Park, Nelly Furtado, Usher, CeeLo Green, Carrie Underwood, Justin Bieber, LMFAO and The Wanted.
Adele, LMFAO, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne are the leading finalists for awards. Adele takes the lead as a finalist in 18 award categories, while LMFAO is a finalist in 17 categories. Rihanna lands in 13 categories this year, after leading the pack with 18 category appearances in 2011. Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne each snagged a spot in 10 categories.
Tickets for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards are now on sale at Ticketmaster.com and MGMGrand.com. The 2012 Billboard Music Awards will be co-executive produced by Richard D. Beckman, CEO of Prometheus Global Media and Don Mischer Productions.

His ambition is to become a “World Idol”, he can supposedly make you feel “healed” just by the sight of his face, and he has promised to high five all 3,000 fans during his fan meet at the Singapore Indoor Stadium this Friday.
With such big ambitions and a larger-than-life reputation preceding Korean idol Kim Hyun Joong, it is easy to dismiss him as just another wannabe, but when this reporter met him in the flesh, it became clear why he has legions of fans who worship the ground under his impeccably stylish leather shoes.
Firstly, everything about the Hallyu star looks perfect. Not a single strand of carefully coiffed ash-brown hair is out of place, and even up close, his face appears to be devoid of pores, blemishes, or any other defect that plagues lesser human beings.
When he smiles, he displays two rows of white, shiny straight teeth and his eyes sparkle with such sincerity that it would take a strong-willed woman not to go weak at the knees. Even his voice is warm, mellow, and completely in line with his image.
Kim is, after all, the actor who played Yoon Ji Hoo – the sweet, sensitive second male lead of wildly successful Korean series Boys Over Flowers that catapulted him to instant super-stardom in 2009.
Here in Singapore to kick-start a series of Asian fan meetings, Kim will be singing and dancing to 14 of his songs and play several games with his fans before attempting to high five each and every one of them.
During the course of the press conference and subsequent group interview, it becomes apparent that his answers are as perfectly prepared as the rest of his appearance, from his sharp black blazer to deep v-neck shirt that exposes just a hint of male cleavage.
Questions about what kind of girl he likes aren’t allowed – neither are we permitted to ask if he will re-unite with the other members of boy-band SS501.
According to Yahoo: This is what we got from him –
What can fans expect from his fan-meeting?
“The best way to find out is to come for the fan meeting – fans usually think that such meetings are just a small group of people interacting, but this time it is more like a fan meeting ‘upgraded’ – with a mini concert. Please come and have fun.
You’ve been to Singapore thrice – what do you love the most and what do you miss about this country?
Predictably Kim responds that his fans are what he loves the most – however he does say later that he loves Singapore’s chilli crab and has been to the Marina Bay Sand’s infinity pool and liked it very much.
Why attempt to set such a record in high fiving 3,000 people and why did he decide to do that?
“I wanted to make sure that everyone coming for the fan meeting has the best fun – I hope to meet everyone of them up close and remember all their faces. It would be like a small gift from me.”
What are your musical influences?
“I don’t have any particular musical influence. Usually I follow the weather. For today, its humid and dull weather, so I listen to ballads and slow music from my own album. I hope Friday’s weather will be much better.”
Perhaps some of his answers are lost in translation and not deliberately bland because he appears to think before answering, fiddling with a silver bracelet on his wrist.
One thing is clear – he is single-minded in his quest to make it as a “World Idol”, who he defines as being someone that “people admire and look up to.”
How did you prepare for your upcoming fan-meeting?
“I was supposed to go for a Lady Gaga concert before flying here. But I missed the concert because I felt that I needed to practice more.”
Just when you thought that getting non-politically correct answers was impossible from Kim, flashes a disarming grin and drops a few cheeky, unexpected answers.
When you are not performing or on stage, what is your fashion sense like?
“I like to wear track shoes, something comfortable, that feels like my own skin, so that I can practice well.”
And the one fashion move he will never take?
“Shave my head bald.” he quips without hesitation.
He also revealed that unlike his character in Boys Over Flowers, which he described as “Cold, calm, and Prince-like” – the “real” him, is actually “Very humorous, playful, and lively.”
And how will fans get to know that side of him?
“A video at the fan meeting.” he said.
Besides getting to watch those videos, fans will also receive a t-shirt and brooch specially designed by him.
That, as well as a chance to go palm to palm with Kim and pray that he truly remembers your face?
Its no wonder all the premiere seats (closest to the stage) for his fan meeting are completely sold out.
Ryan Seacrest announced on Thursday September 8, 2011 that Pop Star Lady Gaga will perform on Dick Clark’s 40th anniversary of the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. It will be held in Times Square in New York on December 31, 2011. Mark your calendars!

The 2011 MTV Awards will air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 9 p.m. Bruno Mars and the band Young the Giant are also set to perform at this year’s award show. More performers and presenters will be announced later, so far no host has been named.
SAN FRANCISCO – Lady GaGa is known for her standing out in a crowd with outrageous outfits, this time it’s no difference. Early this month, GaGa was at the CDFA Fashion Awards and here is a link to her after party clothes-less fashion wear-less.
SAN FRANCISCO – Legendary Saxophonist Clarence Clemons has died, Clemons work with Bruce Springsteen for many years. Recently Clemons played the Sax on Lady GaGa (Born This Way) Album. Clemons performed on American Idol season finale and was to perform the National Anthem for the NBA finale show.
SAN FRANCISCO – In the USA Lady GaGa’s song Born This Way is sweeping the chart, however, it’s another story in Lebanon, the officials feels the song is offensive to Christians. GaGa’s song “Judas” is another song that was not wanted across the waters. Malaysia is keeping the songs off the air because they think it promotes homosexuality.
They should listen to her lyrics first and try to find the message. The Gap Band has a song called “You Dropped The Bomb On Me”. People who had never heard the song did not want it played on the radio, they thought it was sending the wrong message. The song did not have a thing to do with bombs, it was about love!
Apparently Adam Lambert was with Lady GaGa for her birthday bash and was having a good time, according to US Magazine, an eyewitness claims Adam was drunk and acting like an animal. Perez Hilton reported on Morning Dish Radio that claims Lady GaGa threw Adam out of her party also Hilton said Adam was singing at GaGa’s party and that Lambert was so drunk he sound like he was auditioning for “American Idol” . Apparently, he was sounding d-mn good to me. This was a radio interview and printed. This is what “I” De De Tillman has to say I was not at the party, don’t know what happened however, If Hilton is supposed to be a friend, you don’t dish the dirt. I don’t want to speculate on GaGa if she ask Adam to leave or not. I only know that Adam and GaGa know the true story. However, Adam MUST be extremely careful on who he hangs out with and where he hangs out. He’s a target for backstabbers and negative publicity. ADAM WATCH YOUR BACK. Your fans love you.
PLEASE LEAVE ME A COMMENT ON WHAT YOU THINK!
