SM Entertainment introduced a new “charter package”, where fans can reserve seats in the economy class of the same flight that SM artists take to Dubai.

SM Entertainment recently released their “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR VI” in DUBAI Global Packages to international fans.

However, this concert package also includes a “charter package”, where fans can sit in the economy class on a chartered flight with the SM artists.

Fans have heavily criticized this move as it not only costs over $3,000 USD — it violates the privacy of the artists and makes them more accessible to sasaeng fans

News started spreading on Chinese social networking platform Weibo that EXO‘s Chinese member Tao might be leaving SM Entertainment.

A gossip Weibo page started the rumor on the night of March 2nd, which wrote, “EXO’s member Huang Zitao nullifies his contract with SM Entertainment and signs with Huayi Brothers. He will also star in the movie version of ‘My Sunshine’ (aka He Yi Sheng Xiao Mo/ Silent Separation).”

Although it is true that Tao has joined the casts in the Chinese movie which will be released on May 1st, there has been no official statement that Tao has left SM Entertainment or has signed with Huayi Brothers.

The manager of Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming denied the rumors, stating, “False news could also be sold as widely-spread news, looks like some organization is having some plans. We should just quietly film a good movie. @Huangxiaoming @Huangzitao.” He also attached a photo of a Chinese character that read “Go away.

Huang Xiaoming is signed under Huayi Brothers and is also acting alongside Tao in the same Chinese movie, hence was rumored to be the one who connected Tao with a contract in China.

Not only have Tao and Huang Xiaoming spent much time in China together, when Huang Xiaoming went to Korea on a vacation with girlfriend Angelababy, Tao also accompanied them to go shopping.

“Tao contract nullification” has also been trending on Weibo, as many are currently discussing the topic.

Meanwhile, EXO is preparing for a comeback and is expected to introduce their comeback track at their upcoming concert EXO PLANET #2 – The EXO’luXion.

Despite their unstoppable popularity all over the world, JYJ has yet to make any new TV appearances. Why?

Since the start of the group, JYJ always faced obstacles when it came to music programs and variety shows due to their never-ending war against their former company, SM entertainment.

In 2012, JYJ won a lawsuit against both SM and AVEX (former Japanese company of JYJ), becoming completely independent from their former companies.

Yet despite winning in both court cases, it’s impossible to find JYJ on television since. One netizen kindly asked KBS himself about JYJ’s lack of appearance on TV, with KBS replying:

“KBS’s Music Bank and its K-Charts are required to follow laws regarding broadcasting, and JYJ’s title song, ‘Back Seat’ does not meet the law standards.”

Netizens are responding to this statement with doubt and anger, voicing their opinions, such as, “There are naked girls dancing on the TV these days. What is wrong with JYJ?”, and “Broadcasting standards? You mean SM standards?”

What do you think of JYJ’s problems with television appearances?

Read below for what EXO said about Kris’ lawsuit against SM Entertainment!

With a successful first concert under their belt, EXO had a press conference to meet with media and discuss their concert as well as the issue on everyones mind, EXO-M’s Kris filing lawsuit.

When asked about the situation, the Lay responded, “We had an interview in China about the situation and we were very upset. There was a lot of disappointment and we were hurt. Due to rumors, EXO fans became divided and I’m upset there was this misunderstanding. I hope there aren’t situations like this in the future and I want EXO to become one.”. Chen continued on to say, “Just like how rain hardens the soil, our member’s teamwork has also become stronger.”

Suho said, “At that moment, the biggest feeling was confusion and because the concert was so close, it was psychologically and physically very difficult and painful. We were more worried for the fans rather than our concert. We hoped to give a perfect performance for the fans, we mentioned and discussed this a lot. After [the incident], we practiced really hard, hoping to give a great performance.”

Luhan said, “First of all, the most touching aspect was that even though there was only a week till the concert, the staff worked very hard to make a perfect performance [for the concert].”

Chanyeol continued on to say, ”At first, it was very chaotic and confusing. I was most worried about the performance for our fans. We discussed and talked amongst ourselves a lot and we practiced even more. Because we practiced so much and had more rehearsals, our bond grew stronger. I think that is how we created this perfect performance. I can confidently say that you will be able to feel the quality of our performance at today’s concert.”

Baekhyun said, “Truthfully, it was difficult to suddenly change the music and choreography, but I feel like our stage director, dancers, managers, and staff suffered [the most]. I really want to thank the staff for their hard work. Considering there was only a week before the concert when the incident happen, I’m sure [everyone] was tired and exhausted. And I’m very grateful towards the all the members very working so diligently.”

According to allkpop forum, the Seoul Central District Court will announce the verdict of JYJ’s lawsuit against S.M. Entertainment on August 10, 2012.

This could be a major victory for Jaejoong, Yoochun , and Junsu to be free of their existing contract and possibly sign a new fair contract with S.M.E  and return to TVXQ with Yunho and Changmin as five which something fans are keeping the faith to happen.

The trio filed their lawsuit in June 2009 which makes three long years of waiting for happy result, hopefully, it will be a joyous verdict for JYJ and the fans.

The person received this answer which is according to allkpop forum, If JYJ loses the lawsuit, then they would have to pay a LARGE sum of money to SME for compensation of the rest of their “contract”  (If they lose they have to pay SME the money SME lost if they were to perform the remainder of the years left on the contract as five members which is A LOT…around 5 million$)

If JYJ wins then SME would HAVE to stop interfering with their activities because then JYJ would acknowledged as an official group apart from TVXQ! Also, they would get a lump sum of cash to go along with their freedom! And maybe a possible reunification with the other two members as TVXQ’s contract is coming to an end soon…but idk for SURE!

However, there could be a major set back if S.M. Entertainment appeals the verdict which means a major delay for fans who are waiting for this to be over with and resolved.

A three-step process according to jyjfans, the first trial with the District Court which the verdict will be announced is on August 10, 2012, that could be final, however, if JYJ wins and S.M. E appeals then the case goes to the Appeals Court, and the last trial could be with the Supreme Court.

The updated information on JYJ’s  Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu’s lawsuit has been postponed from July 19, 2012 to August 10, 2012.
