Kangin {Super Junior} Assaulted A Girl At Alleged Sex Brothel, Kangin currently missing

“It was first reported that Kangin was at a bar in Sinsa-dong but after all the information was sorted, it was found that he was in fact in a room salon establishment in Nonhyeon-dong.

Early reports said that he was with his girlfriend but that can’t be either confirmed or denied as of yet. We [the police] do not know about that, only their agency and Kangin will know the truth about that.

Kangin was indeed drunk but he was not completely overtaken by alcohol.

It looks like there was a minor fight between Kangin and the other person but by the time we arrived they both had amicably reached peace.

When the police arrived at the establishment, the location wasn’t too torn or messy so we did not have to pursue this investigation further.

Since the victim did not wish to press charges, that also added to our decision to not pursue this investigation any further.

In a recent interview with KKBOX Taiwan, Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk revealed their ideal marriage proposals.

In particular, Eunhyuk unveiled, “I haven’t really thought about how I would propose myself, but I have a favourite proposal scene from a movie.” He continued, “[The male character] suddenly wanted to propose to his girlfriend that day, so he ran to the girl who was sleeping and proposed to her while holding her hand at bedside.

He also revealed the reason why he liked this way of proposing, saying, “The feeling would be so good. There would be more sincerity, closeness, and wholeheartedness.” However, while Eunhyuk wanted to keep things simple, Donghae described a romantic scenario, saying, “I would fill up a soccer field in Barcelona with roses and come down from the sky.

Upon unveiling this, both Donghae and Eunhyuk could not stop laughing, with Eunhyuk taking down Donghae’s confidence by saying, “He really doesn’t have any idea or concept about marriage. He probably won’t be able to get married,” prompting Donghae to reply, “I will think about it later!

Super Junior makes a cute mistake during their “Evanesce” performance for their Super Show 6 concert stop in Bangkok, Thailand.

On January 10th, Super Junior visited Bangkok, Thailand as part of their ongoing tour Super Show 6. However, a fan cam taken from the event went viral the following day after a cute onstage mistake from the members was filmed.

During their performance of “Evanesce,” Super Junior had to take a step back in the middle of their performance as a circular platform lifts them up. However, despite their own observations, none of the Super Junior managed to stay in the circle, while Eunhyuk, Leeteuk, Kyuhyun and Siwon able to step on the platform as it rose, leaving the rest of the members below.

Eventually, the platform was lowered down once more so the rest of the group can make their way up throughout the performance.

This was different to the fan cam of member Heechul back in November in Beijing, China where he missed his cue and was left onstage while the rest of the members went up.

Meanwhile, after holding a two-day concert stop in Bangkok, Thailand over the weekend, Super Junior will be heading to Shanghai, China on February 7th.

Just a few days ago, Koreaboo reported Super Junior had begun recording new tracks under the talented producing team, Team Onesound. Now, SM Entertainment has confirmed the return of the super group, as well as a new tour schedule with “Super Show 6.”

The upcoming album will include leader Leeteuk, who returned from his military duties and was discharged at the end of July. This will be the first album released by Super Junior since “Sexy, Free & Single” in 2012, which hailed the return of member Kangin from his military duties.

Leeteuk’s Father and Grandparents Funeral. On January 8, 2013 it was held.

The funeral of Super Junior leader Leeteuk’s father (Park Yong In), grandfather (Park Hyun Suk) and grandmother (Chun Kyung Tae), who passed away on Monday, was held at the funeral parlor in Korea University Guro Hospital yesterday.

To protect the privacy of Leeteuk (original name Park Jeong Su) and his family, SM Entertainment only allowed media coverage one hour before the proceedings took place. A grief-stricken Leeteuk and his actress-singer sister, Park In Young, were seen tearing profusely during the funeral.

Super Junior members, known for their brotherly bond, lent support to their leader since the wake on Monday night and helped carry the casket as pallbearers during the funeral.

Although initial reports stated that Leeteuk’s father and grandparents passed away from a car accident, Korean media later reported that the bodies were actually discovered inside their home in Dongjak, Seoul, by the police on Monday morning.

A suicide note written by Leeteuk’s father, aged 57, who is believed to have suffered from depression due to prolonged financial and mental stress of looking after his elderly and ill-health parents, was also reportedly found at the scene.

After Leeteuk’s parents divorced 16 years ago, the Super Junior leader and his father had allegedly not been on close terms. However, the father and son reconciliated before the singer left to serve his mandatory military service last October.

Joakim Gomez (Rule of Tham) Wants To Meet Super Junior’s Siwon

Reblogged By: La Tray

Posted: Sunday December 29, 2013 @ 3:55 p.m. PST

The star of upcoming Ch5 comedy Rule of Tham gushes about his man crushes and dishes on dealing with harsh comments

When Tiffany of Girls’ Generation scored the chance to play tour guide to charming Thor star Tom Hiddleston during his visit to South Korea, she became the envy of countless women – plus FLY Entertainment artiste Joakim Gomez.

Even though he named her as his favourite member of the K-pop supergroup – whom he got to interview when he emceed at their recent press conference here – Joakim seemed much keener to hang out with the British thespian instead.

“Tom seems like a really cool guy whom you can just sit down and have a beer and long conversations with,” he explained during our chat on the rooftop of VivoCity one rainy afternoon. “I’m envious of Tiffany!” (And we thought most guys would be dying to be in Tom’s shoes instead.)

Another well-known bunch Joakim would love to have a meal and chit-chat session with is Girls’ Generation’s label mate Super Junior.

“We’d talk about their favourite football teams, what they like to do in their spare time, and if they’ve had durian here in Singapore,” he said, adding that his favourite member is hunky “visual” Siwon.

Since completing his National Service in November last year, Joakim, who shot to fame as a top five finalist onSingapore Idol in 2006, embarked on a “year of learning”: he began his DJ stint (two Saturdays ago marked his first anniversary on 987FM), took on more hosting duties, and, come January 2014, will be seen in upcoming Ch5 sitcom Rule of Tham, his fourth small screen foray after two other Ch5 productions (Lifeline 2 and R.E.M The Next Generation) and Okto’s The Band.

The show chronicles the adventures of five undergraduates (played by Joakim, Edwin Goh, Kimberly Chia, Tan Shou Chen and Erin Lim) as they undergo a series of weekly challenges set by their teacher Professor Tham (played by Janice Koh) in order to pass their final year project.

Joakim described his character, Dinesh, as a soft-hearted but somewhat idiotic guy who loves cringe-worthy pick-up lines. He’s also lazy and sports a pot belly – which is the total opposite of what Joakim has been working towards lately.

“I’ve been hitting the gym a lot because I want to take better care of myself and look good,” Joakim revealed. “Zheng Ge Ping is my inspiration – he’s a man’s man. I want to have a body like his when I’m 49 too!”

Besides aspiring to acquire a physique like Ge Ping’s, Joakim also expressed his wish to work alongside the MediaCorp actor. Does this mean the Korean-Indian multi-hyphenate, who speaks Mandarin, has his eyes on Chinese projects? “I want to take on Mandarin dramas for the experience, not for the sake of doing it,” he said. “And I don’t want to be typecast as the non-Chinese-looking guy who can speak Chinese. (laughs)”

Before we get to catch Joakim on Rule of Tham, we’ll be seeing him take the stage at the Celebrate TV50 countdown extravaganza on New Year’s Eve. Together with fellow Singapore Idol alumnus Paul Twohill, he’ll perform a couple of well-known hits (but we’re not allowed to say what they are).

So is he nervous about the backlash that could potentially follow? After all, Joakim was at the mercy of harsh public opinion during his Idol stint (he called the dark period of disapproval a “hellhole”), with many blasting his lack of singing talent.

“I dealt with what I got and I’ve moved on,” he said. “Right now I’m learning to only focus on the constructive criticism. Negative comments no longer bother me as much as they used to.”

Rule of Tham airs every Tue at 8:30pm on Ch5, starting Jan 7.

Kim Kibum Note Stating A Blanket Ban On Questions Related To Super Junior

Reblogged By: La Tray

Talk about having an elephant in the room. Officially, Kim Ki Bum is still a part of Super Junior but in reality, the mere mention of the words Super and Junior in the same sentence will probably earn you a one-way ticket into his minders’ bad books.

Questions about the group, including seemingly harmless ones such as “Which member do you contact the most?” were unceremoniously struck off even before he and his entourage touched down in Singapore, but not without a note stating that a blanket ban on questions related to the group, his past activities and singing in general was in place.

To further drive home the point, all one-on-one interviews strictly followed a prescribed list – even requests for the entertainer to elaborate on his answers were flatly rejected – and no questions were allowed during the press conference: all questions were posed by the host.

Granted, his silent and abrupt disappearance from the group activities during the Sorry, Sorry era set more than a few tongues wagging, but the 26-year-old’s focus on acting in recent years has sent out a clear message that he is probably more interested in what he is currently doing. Why then, we wonder (along with everyone else), why managing to broach the subject is as likely as bringing a real elephant into the room. Not that we are blaming the quiet actor – his sincerity when answering questions is apparent when he paused to think before thoughtfully answering them.

Kim Ki Bum Memory of Love Fan Meeting will be held on September 13 (Friday), 7pm, at The Star Theatre. Tickets are priced at S$210, S$150, S$110, S$80 (excluding SISTIC booking fees) and are available through SISTIC.

Super Junior Kim Kibum makes a surprise visit to Hong Kong this August.
Kim Kibum will leave for Hong Kong on the 14th to promote his large-scale fan meeting event, ‘Kim Kibum Memory of Love in Hong Kong with CH M.’ On that day, he will hold a press conference and say hello to his Hong Kongese fans through local TV appearance.
Kim started his Asia fan meeting tour in Bangkok, Thailand, last March. He will hold the next two concerts in Hong Kong and Singapore this coming September with an expected audience of 3000.
This Asia fan meeting tour especially means a lot to Kim Kibum, as it is accomplished by fans’ continuous requests, which proves his global popularity. He has prepared various programs for the fan meeting, such as mini concert, talk-time, handshaking, and photo time. Kim revealed during the interview that he is going to meet his fans not as a member of Super Junior, but as ‘actor Kim Kibum.’
Promotion staff said, “From the previous fan meeting in Thailand, it only took 10 minutes for the tickets to be sold out, which proves local fans’ unceasing love toward Kim Kibum. A lot of broadcast media from Asian countries have been inquiring about his next fan meeting and interview.”
Meanwhile, Kim Kibum will hold his solo fan meeting on August 8 at ‘KITEC’ in Hong Kong and on the 13th at ‘The Star Performing Art Center’ in Singapore.

Hong Kong Fans Ask K-Pop Artists To Boycott The “Hong Kong Dome Festival”

Reblogged By: De De Tillman;  International Celebrity Blogger

On July 1st, the “Hong Kong Dome Festival” outdoor concert will be held at the Kai Tak Development Site, lasting four hours long, and will features artists BoA, SHINee, EXO, f(x), Super Junior-M’s Henry, and local bands Mr and RubberBand.

Unfortunately, the event has been shrouded in controversy.

A pro-democracy protest rally is held annually on July 1st in Hong Kong, and Hong Kong fans have argued that their government has purposely arranged the concert in efforts to derail young people from the protest, which will focus on Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying.

Tickets for concerts in Hong Kong is said to average about 1,000 Hong Kong dollars (145,000 won or approximately 128 USD); but tickets for the “Hong Kong Dome Festival” were sold for 99 Hong Kong dollars (14,000 won or approximately 12 USD).

And thus, fans have been requesting K-Pop artists, who are scheduled to attend – BoA, SHINee, f(x), EXO and Super Junior-M’s Henry – through their Facebook page to boycott the upcoming concert.

One fan writes, “I love your songs and dance, but please do not go to Hong Kong on 1/ 7. BoA, please DO NOT make the show in HK on July 1. The government wants to use your fame to sidetrack the democratic event. Please consider, you are living in a country WITH democracy while we are not.”

“The concert you are attending is held at the same time as the march and I would really hate to see that you will be involved in some devious plot to try to undermine the Hong Kong people’s will to say No to a government which was not chosen by its people. Please rethink your decision to attend this concert,” posts a SHINee fan.

However, organizers of the “Hong Kong Dome Festival” deny the event was organized to clash with the protest. PIA chairwoman Florence Chan said to South China Morning Post (SCMP), “July 1 has become a day for Hongkongers to express their demands to the government. We picked this day because we wanted to show the government that we need a mega venue in Hong Kong so that we can stay competitive in the region.”

She adds that the Hong Kong Colisseum** has a capacity for 12,500, and has constantly been overbooked. “We need a venue with a capacity of 25,000 to 30,000.”

The West Kowloon Cultural District is known to have plans for an 18,000 capacity venue that will only come into fruition depending on the budget. Chan explains the the low price tickets to the music festival was “to help show public demand for mega shows (SCMP).”

Civil Human Rights Front’s Jackie Hung Ling-yu insists that the concert is sponsored by property developers to dissuade young people into participating in this year’s protest rally, but says that “the ploy would be in vain and protesters would take to the streets as usual (SCMP).”

A Facebook Page has been set up and has already attracted nearly 6,000 likes.

While there has been no word if any of the SM Entertainment artists will boycott the concert at the heed of fans, local Hong Kong bands Mr and RubberBand have recently announced that they will still participate, but will donate their earnings from the concert to charity.

RubberBand posted their decision via Facebook and Sina’s Weibo, “We offer our sincere apology to fans who are disappointed in us. After a few days of consideration, we have come to the conclusion that we can voice our opinion on any stage, wherever it is (SCMP).”

“After the event, we will [join] the march. We call upon all those who care about Hong Kong’s freedom and political development to take to the streets and express their views on that day (SCMP).”

Mr writes, “To those of you who have attacked and discredited the performers [at Dome Festival], we do not make this decision out of fear of you. I want you to know your comments bring no positive impact on society, the economy or yourself (SCMP).”

**in comparison, Tokyo Dome (Japan) has a capacity of 55,000; Kaohsiung (Taiwan) seats 40,000; Singapore Sports Hub seats 55,000.
