Magic Johnson didn’t hide how much he wanted a Phil Jackson-Lakers reunion, and the team opting for Mike D’Antoni isn’t changing that.

“The reason I haven’t tweeted in 2 days is because I’ve been mourning Phil Jackson not being hired as the Lakers head coach,” the Hall of Famer tweeted on Wednesday morning.

D’Antoni surprised | Why did LA say no to Phil?

Johnson last tweeted on Nov. 11 and made his stance known two days before that, while the Lakers were in ultimately failed negotiations with Jackson.

“(Owner) Jim Buss has another big decision. The @Lakers need a championship caliber coach,” Johnson wrote. “I’d love to see Phil Jackson or Brian Shaw. Wish Pat Riley was available.”

LA wound up with none of those three—and that upset Johnson, who played his entire career with the franchise and was

a minority owner before selling his share in the run-up to his involvement with the LA Dodgers’ ownership group.

“My mother always taught me that if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything

at all,” Johnson tweeted.

The Lakers agreed to terms with D’Antoni late on Saturday night and told Jackson shortly after.

He caused a massive stir last month when he seemingly announced his engagement on Twitter.

And while Lil Wayne later came out and claimed his girlfriend had only accepted his invitation to be his Valentine, she was wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger a basketball game in Los Angeles last night.

Cocktail waitress Dhea Sodano looked to be having a great time as she watched the LA Lakers beat the Miami Heat 93-83 at the Staples Centre.

And she took the opportunity to publicly flash her gold canary diamond sparkler, which the hip hop star presented to her on Valentine’s Day.

The music star has been dating the sexy Italian since last year, and set tongues wagging when he tweeted on Valentine’s Day: ‘She said yes!’

However he soon backtracked when he realised news of the supposed engagement began to spread.

The Grammy winner wrote: ‘I meant ‘she said yes’ to being my valentine! Y’all krazy!’

However sources close to the star have said he really did propose, and the 29-year-old has continued to profess his love for her on the social networking site.

Last week the Carter favourite wrote: ‘I feel like I’ve died and went to Dhea.’

If they do

get married then she will have a ready made family, as Lil Wayne has four children.

His first child, daughter Reginae was born when he was just 15, to his high school sweetheart Antonia Johnson.

The pair married on Valentine’s Day of 2004 and divorced in 2006.

His second child, Dwayne III, was then born on October 22, 2008 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.

His third child, Cameron Carter, was born to actress Lauren London on September 9, 2009.

He had his fourth child, Neal, on November 30, 2009 with singer Nivea.

In the past ladies’ man Wayne has also been linked to actress Karrine Steffans-McCrary and popstrel Shanell Woodgett.

Former NBA  star Dennis Rodman gave an emotional speech. Coach Phil Jackson was by his side as Former NBA player Scottie Pippen looked on.  Rodman  always gave credit and respect to coach Phil Jackson and the late Chuck Daly.  Michael Jordan was a “No Show On Stage.”

Rodman is the best of the best in NBA history and has rings to prove it,  he was so entertaining and I enjoyed watching him play, however,  I hate he has negative views on having relationships with black women.

Mike Brown (NBA Coach) More Qualified Than Champ Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Topic: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar – Mike Brown

Video Tech Mike Brown is obvious more qualified to coach in the NBA than 6 time Champ Legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy and the rest of the Lakers NBA Stars  whom has retired with several rings, however,  they are not getting the coaching jobs.

Anything  off the streets can walk in a NBA office and say “I want to coach your team” and the idiotic owners say “Okay”.  Legends with rings and know what it takes to get the job done have to beg for a chance only to get the doors slammed in their face makes no damn sense to me.

Mike Brown was head coach for Cleveland for many years coaching that arrogant Michael Jordan want-to be LeBron James and never won a championship.  Getting close to winning  is not winning.  The Lakers Kobe Bryant has not opened his big mouth to say “NO” to the new head coach.  Kobe could speak out and ask for Jabbar since he controls the owner and loves running to the media.

Bryant has more experience than Brown,  in this case Brown is the 1st grader trying to tell the multiple ring champ Bryant how to get another ring.  One day I hope those former NBA Champs get their chance to bring a Championship to a team who deserves it.  In the meantime let Kobe keep controlling the Lakers owner.
